Why did 12 year old me have to watch her favorite kitten die a slow and terrifying death, followed by a car ride to the vet where I would have to say goodbye forever and not even get to be with her in her final moments? And why haven’t I healed after 7 years. What is wrong with me lately.
I was trying to be good and not upset myself over jokes about killing the turkeys in the future but then the littlest one fell ill and I began trying to nurse it back to health and then he joked about taking a golf club to its head and I just can’t do it anymore.
